Our client’s company is a state-owned factory in Surabaya, Indonesia; they want the waste water generated from shrimp washing can be treated for recycling purposes; The quality of the waste water from the shrimp washing process is still very bad like below:
However, due to the shortage of water resources, this water must be treated for secondary use; So according to client’s situation,we did the following analysis: The water quality TDS is at 4000 ppm after simple waste water treatment; however, if the water can be recycled, then the TDS should be less than 100 ppm.Therefore, it cannot only use RO system ; it must be combined with PAC chemical treatment and multi-media filtration, activated carbon filtration, dosing, ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis to deal with waste water together, as shown in the below:
